I have experienced devastating losses\u2014the loss of my grandmother, my father, the struggle for my mother\u2019s health, and other farewells that have marked my life\u2014and watching Louise<\/strong> face her destiny hit me with an unavoidable question: what would I do?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
